What's in my bag?

Photo Taken by myself

I recently got this bag from River Island. I had forgot that i had some birthday money left over, so i thought i would treat myself. I don't know if they still do it anymore as when i went online a couple of days after just to se what other bags they have got it was no longer on there, but I've seen it on ASOS so you should still be able to find it on there. This bag is the 'Lilac structured mini tote bag.' I wanted to get a bit smaller bag because i end up putting so much stuff in my bag that it gets so heavy! This one is just right size for me and as its a bit smaller I'm less likely to fill it with rubbish! My bag is usually full of receipts and empty wrappers! This bag has 3 compartments which is what i love most about it, (apart from it being such a cute bag!) The middle compartment has got a clasp that you use to undo it. I like that it has a strap on it as well as handles too. Its not a heavy bag either, its quite light. I'm really liking the gold detailing on it a lot. The bag just really stood out to me... it was calling 'Clem, buy me, buy me!' So i ended up getting it, but I'm so pleased i did.

Although I'm always changing what's in my bag, this is what is currently in my bag today. (My bag was receipt free and wrapper free, so I'm doing well! Although my purse seems to have acquired them instead!)

1. Owl Purse. I love this little owl purse so much. I got it when i was in Cornwall a couple of years ago. I use it for holding my money and change. This is just a little purse i can pop in my bag easily.

2. Lipstick. You may recognise this lipstick from one of my previous posts. Its the Rimmel London one in Coral in Gold. I am obsessed with this lipstick. I stocked up a while bag so i don't run out too quick!

3. Concealer. I got this concealer from Superdrug a little while bag. Its great for covering spots. Its also got something in thats meant to help spots too. This only cost me a couple of pounds.

4. Ear Plugs. I always carry my earplugs with all the time. Being a drummer i need to wear them when playing to protect my hearing. If i don't keep them in my bag i tend to forget them, so they go everywhere with me.

5. Hairbrush. I always carry this pink hairbrush with me everywhere. My mum got me it quite a while back and i   love it (cuz' its pink!)

6. Lip gloss. I love lip glosses. This one is by Rimmel London and is the Vinyl Gloss. Its a really nice sparkly pink colour.

7. Lip Balm. I also love little tins of Vaseline for my lips Just in case my lips start to feel dry i like to carry these around with me. This one is the rose one. It has a slight pink tint to it.

8. Lip Balm. Another little tin of Vaseline. This one is the aloe vera one. They are very hydrating and keep my lips looking nice.

9. Mirror. This is my little cat mirror i carry everywhere with me. My mum got me this ages ago, i love it so much, its so cute.

As well as these items in my bag i also carry my iPhone with me all the time, i was taking the photo using it so i couldn't include it in!

A Million Ways To Die In The West - Film Review

Image from Google

When i first see the advert for this film, i though, oh! this looks quite good. I didn't really know what to expect when i went to the cinema to see it. Me and my friend usually have a cinema night once or twice a month and thought that this might be  good film to watch, and let me tell you, this has to be one of the best films I've seen in a long time! Im not just saying that, i really mean it. It is so funny and a great film to watch.

Description
  1. "After cowardly Albert backs out of a gunfight because he's never fired his gun, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man -- the proprietor of the town's foremost moustache emporium. When he accidentally saves the life of a mysterious and beautiful woman, she helps him find his courage and learn to stand up for himself. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge the sheep farmer must triumph over all of the hilariously awful dangers of the old west in order to save her."

The main character in this film is Albert Stark. Seth MacFarlane plays this character so well and you really feel a strong attachment to the character and follow his emotions throughout the film. His girlfriend leaves him for a man called Foy who is played by Neil Patrick Harris, and Albert wants her back.
newcomer called Anna, played by Charlize Theron, who is the runaway wife of Clinch, played by Liam Neeson comes in to the town and helps Albert try and win her back. But they both end up falling for each other.

This is packed with lots of funny scenes that will make you laugh. The cinema was full of laughter. My most favourite part has to be the moustache song and dance, its hilarious! Its also quite catchy and i had it in my head for days! There are some parts in the film that might make you go ew! but in a funny way though! If you have watched it, you will know what i mean. There are so many other famous faces in the film such as; Dennis Haskins, Ewan McGregor, Jamie Foxx, Patrick Stewart and one of my most favourite scenes in the film was with Christopher Lloyd in it, best known for his role as Doc Brown in the Back to the Future films. In this scene he plays his Back to the Future character Doc Brown.

Although some critics gave this film a low rating, i give it a very high 5/5.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and haven't laughed so much in a film for ages. During the film you will also start to realise why this film is called A Million Ways To Die In The West.

    Definitely a must see.

Seventeen Instant Glow

I recently went on the hunt for a new bronzer. Its been a while since I've a used a bronzer and my last one i bought had all crumbled! Don't you just hate it when that happens. I went in to Boots and decided to have a look around in there for one. (I also had a coupon to use!)
I haven't really purchased many products by Seventeen, only a couple in the past, but they have such a huge range now and some fantastic looking products. I love the packing the products come in.

Here is what Seventeen say about this product:
"These gorgeous pink and bronze rocks can be used to contour, highlight, and create a bronzed shimmer. Just dust on with the SEVENTEEN Shimmer brush, or use the rocks individually to create a more intense effect."

To apply this bronzer on to my skin i use one of my Bubbi brushes (Bubzbeauty.)
This product applies really well and a little goes a long way.
The packaging is just too cute and i love the little pink and bronze rocks.

As you can see you get a lot of product. This cost me £4.99 which i feel is very reasonably priced and worth it.

The bronzing rocks are very pigmented as you can see. Usually when i have bought bronzing rocks before with different brands, they end up crumbling and going everywhere. But with this one, that hasn't happened which i am really pleased about. I find it so hard to also find a bronzer that suits my skin tone, but this one by Seventeen really suits my pale skin. I highly recommend getting this product as to me its the best bronzer I've owned.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks

I am obsessed with these face masks! They really do what they say they do and they smell so good and leave your skin feeling amazing. I have tried a few different ones before but i hadn't tried this one though. I love the fact that they only cost 99pThe one i got in the photo above is the 'Blemish Mud Face Masque.' I love the packaging they come in as they always look so bright and cheerful.

Evening Primrose, Rosemary and Witch Hazel.

So as you can see these are packed with a lot of goodness : which i like in a face mask and have lots of natural ingredients. This face mask says it is also suitable for Combination, Normal, Oily and Sensitive skin.
I put this face mask on all over my face and left it on for between 10 to 15 minutes.

There are also so many more of these face masks that i want to try, as they have a pretty big range. If you go on their website you will see what i mean.

I just wanted to share with you what i am loving beauty wise this month. I think its good to have a chill out night and apply a mask. I usually apply a mask about once a week to help keep my skin fresh, as my skin is more combination but can also get quite oily and also dry, so these masks work wonders for my skin. This mask made my skin feel all nice and soft afterwards and really refreshed. I really noticed a difference of the appearance of my skin the next morning. My skin looked a lot more refreshed and hydrated. It also gave my skin a nice glow. My skin also still felt nice and soft. These masks are a huge help for when i do get a breakout of spots, the spots disappear a lot quicker. I am definitely going to be buying this one again :) You can buy these from lots of different shops, i usually get mine from either the supermarket or savers

Please let me know in the comment section below what face masks you are loving at the moment. I love to try new things. Also please let me know if you have tried any of the Montagne Jeunesse masks and which your favourite is :)

The Immortal Rules (Blood Of Eden #1) by Julie Kagawa - Book Review

The Immortal Rules

I haven't actually done a proper book review on here before, but i love reading so much and i want to share with you the books i love reading.
Im more of the science fiction type, i love a good book about paranormal-romance, vampires and zombies. Reading lets me jump in to a completely different world and join the characters for an adventure. Ever since i was really young when my mum taught me to read, i have always loved reading. I love that new book smell! I have so many books on my shelf and i can't wait to share them with you. I also have a Nook that my dad got me as a present, as due to me collecting so many books over the years i have run out of space for them! Don't get me wrong though, i love the feel of a new book and turning the pages when reading, but with my Nook i am able to store lots of books at great prices on there. Its also handy to take with me when i am out for the day.

Description of The Immortal Rules

"Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten. Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them—the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.

Forced to flee her city, Allie must pass for human as she joins a ragged group of pilgrims seeking a legend—a place that might have a cure for the disease that killed off most of civilization and created the rabids, the bloodthirsty creatures who threaten human and vampire alike. And soon Allie will have to decide what and who is worth dying for… again."

This book is amazing and i highly recommend it. You really get in to the book and you feel like you know the characters and become really attached to them. This has definitely been one of the best books i have read. I felt so many emotions whilst reading The Immortal Rules. I have read many good Vampire books but this one is at the top of my list.

You get to follow Allie from before she became a Vampire and her life as one. This is very interesting reading a book from the point of view of a Vampire.
Allie is a very strong and powerful young girl and overcomes a lot of obstacles and emotions on the way. Allie wants to be different to the other Vampires. On the way she meets new friends and new enemies. Allie is such an amazing character and as i said you really get to know the characters in the book and become really attached to them, so you feel the same emotion as what they are feeling.
The Rabids are horrible creatures and i really felt scared for Allie and her friends when these bloodthirsty creatures come in to the pages.

Im not going to go too much in to what happens in this book as i don't want to spoil it for you.

Julie Kagawa has also written quite a few more books and they look so good, so i can't wait to get my hands on them and read them.
Julie has written this book brilliantly.

I give this book a very high 5/5.

Homemade Vegetable Soup - Dairy Free, Wheat Free and Gluten Free.

If your like me and can't have Dairy, Wheat and Gluten, you will know how hard it is to find certain foods that you love.
I also can't have onions and onion powder, which is in everything!

I have been on the hunt for ages now for a soup in the supermarkets that doesn't contain any of these ingredients. I haven't had any luck so far.

So i decided that i am just going to have to make my own. I had it in my head that making soup even though it looks simple to make was still going to be hard to make, but with these few ingredients and a blender! You are able to create the perfect soup :)

Ok so im not a chef and no expert when it comes to making food, but having to cut out dairy, wheat, gluten and onions/onion powder, I have had to experiment.
You may make soup a lot differently and might not like how i made mine. But all i can say is that this soup is delicious and when you have waited a very long time to have soup again, its so good :)

Ingredients

1 tin of Chopped Tomatoes
Mushrooms
Peppers (Yellow, Red or Green can be used)
Spinach
Herbs
Water

I literally stuck everything in to a blender and blended it until i was happy then poured it in to a saucepan and cooked for about just under 10 minutes, or until happy with it.

I put a couple of slices of free from bread on the side too to dip in the soup.

It is super easy to make and tastes so good. You can add whatever ingredients you want to yours, but this is something that i just put together. I haven't stated how much of everything i used because well that is up to you depending how much you want to make. I made enough for two people.

It might not seem much, but to me i felt so happy whilst eating it :) because i am sometimes quite limited to what i can eat, which you will agree with if you have to be on the same diet as me.

This is just a quick, easy recipe to use to make soup.

Please let me know in the comments section below if you have any free from recipes :) I would love to check them out.
