What's In My Makeup Bag

I love these types of blog posts, where you get to see what's inside other peoples makeup bags, I'm so nosy! You may remember my Bambi makeup bag from my previous blog post, I love it so much, it's just so cute and it's Disney... and Bambi! I'm really loving cute makeup bags at the moment, I've collected a few, but I love putting my face creams, make up brushes and other essentials in them, so I know where everything is.

I am obsessed with the Extra Virgin Minerals Loose Powder Foundation by The Body Shop. I've been using it for a long time now and I love it. I find that my skin feels like it's not even wearing any foundation, I'm not a very big fan of liquid foundation, as it always feels so heavy on my skin. To apply this powder foundation I use my Bare Minerals makeup brush.
Next I have the All-In-One Instablur by The Body Shop. I love this primer, it's definitely my favourite out of other primers that I have tried. I find that it really helps my makeup to last longer throughout the day and also helps with shine too, as my skin does get quite oily sometimes.
If you saw one of my previous blog posts on these gorgeous Sleek blushers, you will know how much I love them. I have the ones in the shade Rose Gold and Pixie Pink. I had never tried any of the Sleek Makeup products before and now I'm hooked. I find these look great, even on my pale skin!
Next I have my two of my most favourite eyeliner and mascara, at £1.99 each these are two products I am a huge fan of. I love Natural Collection from Boots, all of their products are perfume free and are so affordable. Out of many mascaras I have tried, even expensive ones, nothing compares to this one by Natural Collection. I highly recommend checking them out.
Now normally I would have included my eyeshadow palettes in this but they are getting a little messy, the ones I am currently using are by MUA, I love their eyeshadow palettes.

(All of these products, I purchased myself and all words are my own honest opinion.)

  • Udi's Sponge Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of dairy free spread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavouring
  • 1/2 cup of water of you can use soya milk etc (I used water)
  • Strawberry Jam (or a different flavour if you prefer.)
  • Some fruit to put on the side. (I used strawberries and blueberries.)
You may remember that I previously posted a cake recipe using Udi's Sponge Cake Mix, this time I wanted to try something a little different and add a filling and some fruit on the side. This cakes tasted so delicious and it wasn't in the cake tin for very long! I am a huge fan of Udi's and I love all of their products. This cake is so quick and easy to make. I added everything together and then split the mixture in to two cake tins and popped them in the oven for about half an hour on gas mark 5. Once cool I popped on some strawberry jam and then put the cake together and served with some strawberries and blueberries. You can add some cream, ice-cream or even custard with this cake.

Heres a few other things I've been baking -

Sunday Thoughts

Welcome to another Sunday Thoughts blog post.
After what seemed like summer was almost over, we had some lovely weather yesterday and was a really hot day. Although I am looking forward to autumn, I always think of being snuggled under a warm blanket, drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate and different coloured leaves on the trees outside. I also love Halloween. But hopefully we are still going to have some more lovely days of summer yet. I'm really excited to start back at University in September, I will be in my second year. I can't believe how quick this last year has gone though! I remember thinking when I was little how slow the days used to go and that I couldn't wait to be 16 and start college, and now time just seems to have flown by and it doesn't seem 5 minutes since I was saying that!

Photography
Today I wanted to share with you below some photos I recently took in my garden. I've really been loving taking photos and It's something I'm very passionate about. As you may know I recently purchased a Canon 700D, which takes beautiful photos. I'm still practicing though and getting used to how the camera works. I found lots of little caterpillars in my garden and also happened to come across a little fly too.

Like I said I'm still practicing, but I had so much fun photographing these little guys. I also want to save up and get a couple more lenses as I'm currently using the standard one that came with the camera.

Baking
Wow, how good were some of those bread designs on The Great British Bake Off on Wednesday! I love bread, I think i'm definitely going to have a go at making something like that but obviously using gluten and dairy free ingredients. I think my favourite had to be Paul's lion bread. I can't wait to see next weeks.

Here's what I've recently been baking -

Banana and Oat Cookies | Dairy. Wheat and Gluten Free
Banana Bread | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
Vegetable Pasty | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
2 Ingredient Pancakes
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookie
Homemade Dairy Wheat and Gluten Free Bread
Homemade Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free Jam Tarts
Miffy Cookies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
Chocolate Chip Brownies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free

Beauty
I recently purchased some of Zoella's Beauty range, click here to see my Mini Zoella Beauty Haul.
I got the Guinea Pig beauty bag, the cosmetic purse and the body mist, which smells amazing, I've been wearing it so much and I love it.
I also recently went to Primark and got some more beauty bags, click here to see them. I am obsessed with Disney and just had to buy them.
I've also got a what's in my make up bag blog post coming very soon which I'm so excited about as I love those types of blog posts myself. The bag I use to put my make up in is the Bambi one.

I really hope that you have enjoyed this weeks Sunday Thoughts and thank you for reading.

Do You Believe In Fairies?

I love, love, love Disney, I have done ever since I was little. I've always loved Bambi and Tinker Bell. I think one my most favourite Disney films though has to be Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I love that film, I remember owning it on video and it was always the first video I went to, to put on.
I think my next favourite Disney film is Cinderella, I've always loved Cinderella, she's definitely one of my favourite Disney Princesses. I also love The Haunted Mansion film with Eddie Murphy in. I remember when I was a lot younger and my mum and dad took me to Disney World, they couldn't keep me off The Haunted Mansion ride! Definitely one of my my favourite rides at Disney, I also love Splash Mountain, which is like a 10 minute ride and I loved so much.

How gorgeous are these two beauty bags?
I picked these two beauties up on my trip to Primark. The first one really caught my eye as I love Tinker Bell, especially as it says on the bag 'Do you believe in fairies?' I haven't actually put anything inside the Tinker Bell one yet, as I'm still deciding what to put in it.
The next beauty bag I absolutely love, I didn't even decided whether to get this one, I just simply picked it up and off I went to the till. I've actually decided to use this little beauty for my make up, although I am going to keep my brushes in a separate bag with my more messier make up, as I know what I'm like and I cant bare to get this little Bambi bag dirty.
I've really been loving all of the beauty bags in Primark lately, although I do have quite a few, I love getting them because they come in really handy to put things in, as I can be a little messy and everything ends up everywhere!

Please let me know in the comment section below if you have recently picked up some really cute beauty bags.

From my last blog post, you may know that I went camping with my friend Emma, we had a brilliant time. Click here for my last blog post to see what was keeping awake during the night! (We still don't know what it was.) We went on holiday to Tewkesbury, such a beautiful town, with lots of shops. Emma and I decided to go camping as we both love it, (well apart from putting up the tent and taking it down again!) Luckily there was a lovely couple who helped us put up the tent. We had practiced putting it up before hand but we had a little trouble putting it up when we got there. Also just after the tent was put up, it started to rain, but other than that, we had some lovely weather.

Emma and I had a lovely walk in to the town and we decided to pop in Superdrug to have a look around and get some essentials. I was so happy when I saw the whole complete Zoella Beauty range. Having a little bit of holiday spending money I just had to pick up a few things from the range. I decided to get the Zoella Guinea Pig Beauty Bag, the Zoella Cosmetic Purse and the Zoella Lets Spritz Body Mist (which smells so amazing.) I have been wearing the body mist so much, I love it. Everything is super cute and I can't wait to get more of the Zoella Beauty range.

I love, love, love the Guinea Pig Beauty bag, it's so cute. I currently have my face creams in it at the moment. I just can't get over how gorgeous the beauty bag is. I really didn't know which one to get and I really liked the other two beauty bags, but as I love guinea pigs it was only right that I chose this one. Next I got the cosmetic purse which really caught my eye (not just because it's pink!) I really love the design on it. Lastly I got the body mist, which let me tell you, smells so good, It really does. I have been wearing the body mist so much since I bought it and wore it everyday on holiday.

Please let me know in the comment section below which products you love from the Zoella Beauty Range.

Sunday Thoughts

Lots Of Wild Daisies in A field With Narrow Focus 2
(Source)

Welcome lovelies, to another Sunday Thoughts post.

You may have noticed that there wasn't a Sunday Thoughts post on the blog last week, I went on holiday with my friend Emma, I had a brilliant time. We went camping in Tewksbury, such a lovely town, we also had a ride to Cheddar and went to a VW show at East Nor Castle. During one night my friend Emma woke me up asking me if I could hear this rustling noise and as I listened, we both honestly thought that something was in the tent with us! My friend Emma looked over in to the main area of the tent and all she could see was this round lump moving underneath the tent. I was too scared to look! After a few minutes we both got up but whatever it was had gone... at this moment we think it could be a hedgehog! We both looked outside the tent, but could not see any animals about. On the last night of our holiday, we both woke up hearing the same rustling noise. This time feeling a little braver, I looked over to the middle area of the tent and what did we see, this round lump again moving underneath the tent. This time we tried to get closer to it but it got scared a quickly ran off. We got up quick and undone the tent and went outside quickly but once again we couldn't see anything, we even put the torch on and had a good look, but nothing. After we got back in bed and nicely got off to sleep, I was woken up by a different kind of rustling noise, thinking it was the wind, I was wrong, as what I could hear was something sniffing the other side of the tent right next to where I was laying and all of a sudden I saw a shadow, coming towards me and what seemed like the animal pressing down on the tent from the outside. As you can imagine I was pretty freaked out right about now. I woke up my friend Emma saying, "I think something is trying to get inside the tent!" The creature went all along the tent doing this until I moved part of the tent and whatever it was ran off. Once again we went outside but couldn't see anything. So It's still a mystery as to what was actually outside the tent and underneath the tent!
I really do love camping though and we had a good laugh about this the next morning, even asking people on Facebook what they thought the creatures could be.

I wanted to share with you this gorgeous little trinket box that my mum got me, I have started putting some of my jewellery in it. I love collecting pretty little boxes like this and filling them up with my own treasure. I love keeping little things I have bought that have memories attached to them, so that when I open the box everything has a special meaning attached to it.

Yay! The Great British Bake Off has started again, although I have missed a couple and need to get caught up again, but I am really loving it this year. I think my favourite has to be the Biscuit box, made out of biscuit, with biscuits inside. What is there not to love, I love biscuits! Check out a few of my recipes below that I have been loving -

Banana and Oat Cookies | Dairy. Wheat and Gluten Free
Banana Bread | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
Vegetable Pasty | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
2 Ingredient Pancakes
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookie
Homemade Dairy Wheat and Gluten Free Bread
Homemade Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free Jam Tarts
Miffy Cookies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
Chocolate Chip Brownies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free

I have really been loving these two blushers, I've never tried any of the Sleek Makeup products before, so I was really excited to try these and I love them. Click here for the blog post. I also have a 'What's in my Makeup Bag blog post coming soon, which I am really excited about as I love reading those types of blog posts myself.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks Sunday Thoughts and thank you for reading.

Banana and Oat Cookies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free

IMG_0131

IMG_0129

IMG_0128

These Banana and Oat Cookies are delicious, I love gluten free oats, I always have a pack in my cupboard and are defininitly one of my cupboard essentials. I decided to add an extra ingredient to these, coconut milk. They taste delicious and the best thing about these are, all you need is 4 ingredients to make these sweet treats -

2 cups of Gluten free oats,
2 tsp of Honey/Syrup,
2 Bananas,
1/4 cup of Coconut milk.

The reason why I decided to use cocunut milk is because although they are so delicious just using oats, honey and banana, they sometimes come of the oven a little dry, so I decided to add some of the coconut milk and I am so happy I did because when you bite in to these, the middle is nice and soft and chewy. I popped them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. These are great for a snack and are very quick and easy to make.

Rose Gold and Pixie Pink | Sleek MakeUp

You may have seen that Clemloves has been a little quiet the last week, I went on holiday with my friend Emma, I had a brilliant time. I decided to have a little break and start blogging again today. I decided not to schedule any posts and give Clemloves a little holiday too.

For  a long while now I have been wanting to treat myself to some new blushers. Having very pale skin I often find it hard to find a blusher that will suit my skin tone. I recently went to Superdrug to have a look to see what I could find. I found myself at the section that had lots of beautiful products by Sleek MakeUp. I've never actually owned any products by them but I have often been looking at them online. I decided to go for (with a little help from my mum) Rose Gold and Pixie Pink, how gorgeous are they. The Rose Gold one is quite pigmented which I love and the Pixie Pink one is more matte. I am in love with these two blushes, I'm definitely going to be going back and see what else I can find. At £4.49 and for how much product you get these are great, and they last all day on my skin. I am now definitely 100% a huge fan of Sleek MakeUP and I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already, I really wish I had of tried these blushers sooner.

I would love to know what your favourite products by Sleek MakeUp are?

Looking for something sweet and delicious to make, why not try this yummy Banana Bread. It's dairy, wheat and gluten free.

I have also started a new feature on my blog every Sunday called Sunday Thoughts. Click here to see my last Sunday Thoughts blogs post.

Banana Bread | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free

I have really been wanting some Banana Bread so bad recently. One of my favourite things to do is look for recipe inspiration on Pinterest, I have so many recipes that I have pinned so I can go back to them later. Click here to follow me on Pinterest. I love more simple recipes that don't have too many ingredients in them. But you can add whatever you like to the recipe, maybe a little cinnamon, some vanilla essence. Here is what I used to make this delicious Banana Bread.

2 Bananas,
1 1/4 cups of Gluten Free Flour/Bread Mix,
3 tsp of Baking Powder,
3/4 cup of dairy free milk. I used Coconut Milk.
1 Egg,
1 tsp Coconut Oil,
A little salt,
(You can use some sugar if you like but I used a little syrup instead, or you can use honey.)

This banana bread is super easy to make, I just mixed all of the ingredients together and popped it into the oven for about 1 hour on a low temperature. You can also add some oats into the mixture too, which is what I did the first time I tested out this recipe, but I decided not to add any this time. I can't wait to make this again, but maybe add some different fruit to it, like blueberries. It really does taste so delicious.

Sunday Thoughts

kaboompics.com_Top view of cornflowers and vintage camera
(Source)
I often have so many different things I want to share with you all, so I thought why not make 'Sunday Thoughts' a regular thing. I have had the idea for a while now, as many of you might know for a while now I have just been blogging on a Tuesday and Saturday and more recently Tuesday and Thursday. From now on I want to try and blog three days a week, I will be blogging on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. I love blogging and I want 'Sunday Thoughts' to be a blog post where I can share with you my ideas and opinions on different topics, photos that I have taken, what I am currently loving and what I have been up to in general. I have always wanted to make Clemloves more of a personal blog, (I want to make it more 'me.')

This week you may have seen Tuesdays blog post 10 Places I Want To Travel To. I have been thinking  a lot lately about all of the places that I want to travel to, I love going abroad, the last time I went abroad was with my mum when I was 16/17 and I loved it. We went to Rome, so beautiful. I have also been to Disney World in Florida, France and Belgium. I have been seeing so many beautiful photos online of different countries and I have really been loving reading travel blog posts, so if you have any please send your links this way.

Baking... I really love baking, I find it so relaxing and I just thoroughly enjoy it in general. It's that time of year again for The Great British Bake Off. It starts again in three days. I'm so excited. Here a few of the different things I have been baking -
Quinoa Stuffed Tomato with Salmon
Vegetable Pasty | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
2 Ingredient Pancakes
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookie
Homemade Dairy Wheat and Gluten Free Bread
Homemade Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free Jam Tarts
Miffy Cookies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free
Chocolate Chip Brownies | Dairy, Wheat and Gluten Free

I also have a few more recipe blog posts going up soon.

In my last blog post 5 Beauty Mistakes I Used to Make I listed a few things that I used to make mistakes on when I was younger. I feel that the main one that I used to make and still occasionally do, is washing my make up brushes. I used to be terrible when it came to washing make up brushes, although I do still occasionally forget to wash them regularly, I am much better at it. My skin definitly feels better for it. I always make sure I change my pillow case regularly too as this also helps your skin. I have recently been coming out in quite a few breakouts of spots, I'm not really too sure why, although I know stress doesn't help. But I would love to know if you have any tips for keeping those spots at bay. I want to do an update at some point of my daily skincare routine, as I myself love reading those types of blog posts.

For a long time now I have wanted to start posting YouTube videos. I have a channel but just haven't uploaded any videos. I did film a couple a while back but wasn't really very happy with them. I have a few ideas for some videos, so I am very excited to start filming them. I want to start uploading in the next few weeks as I have been putting it off for so long now as I have felt quite nervous about it. But I'm just gonna go for it! (So watch this space.)

I have really enjoyed writing my first Sunday Thoughts blog post. Its just somewhere, where I can share with you what I've been up to and like today's Sunday Thoughts, sharing with you my thoughts and feelings and previous blog posts.
