Feeling Nostalgic With Music

I've been to the year three thousand. Not much has changed but they lived under water...

Remember that song?! Definitely one of my favourites. If you follow me on Twitter or have been reading some of my previous blog posts, you will know how much I have been going on about listening to songs from the 90's and early 00's! I recently made a Spotify playlist with some of these songs on that I have been obsessing over and listening to. You can find the songs at the bottom of this post. I'm actually listening to them now as I write this post!

Listening to these songs now, so many years later, transports me back to the time when these songs were released and I was jumping around my room singing and dancing along to them. I was born in 1990, so I grew up listening to lots of 90's songs, (I miss the 90's!)

When I listen to Brimful Of Asha by Conershop, I think about the time my friend and I went to the seaside and this song came on the radio and we would sing the chorus out loud in the car! Remember that part in the song where it goes 'Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow!' When I listen to Steal My Sunshine by Len, I can remember sitting in the car with my mum and dad going out for the day to Norfolk and hearing this on the radio, I think I was about 9. When listening to I'm Blue by Eiffel 65, I can remember when this song was released, I think in 1999, I loved it and every time it came on the radio or TV I would sing along to it. I still do now! They are all songs I love dearly, I can think of each song and think of that specific thing I was doing at that time when I was listening to them.

These songs bring back so many memories. I think that's why I love listening to them so much and the fact that they are also amazing songs! I love those 90's and early 00's songs. Each of the songs below holds lots of memories. I will be adding lots more songs to this list.

What are some of your favourite songs that make you feel all nostalgic?
