I’ve missed these types of blog posts, so let’s have a Sunday catch up…
One of the first things I’m going to be talking about it is… Clemloves has got a new blog design! Yay! I’m so happy with it. If you read my previous post, it’s something that I have been thinking about a lot recently. I really loved my previous pink and white blog design, my blog header and blog button, but it was time for a change. It was just something I felt I needed to do for my blog and myself.
Having had Clemloves since 2012, I’m so happy with how much my blog has grown over the last few years. It’s great to be able to look back at what I posted on my blog all that while ago! I created Clemloves as a place where I can write about everything that I love, with lots of blog posts on beauty, lifestyle and food. I like to write about lots of different things, rather than just one specific category, I feel then there is something for everyone and also because I love lots of different things.
You may have seen that I got my blog design from pipdig. I’ve been eyeing up their blogger templates for quite sometime. The one I chose, I was just drawn straight to it and when I took a look at the preview, I knew it was the one for me. I’m so happy with the service they provide, I asked them if they would be able to install it for me, which is one of the options they provide. One of my favourite features on my blog is the Splash Page.
Having a new blog design got me thinking about when I used to make different various websites when I was a lot younger, I think it was around the year 2000! I would sit in my bedroom after school and spend hours (literally hours) making websites and adding lots of different things on, such as them cartoon dolls that you could get and the little white, moving cat that you put at the bottom of your site, remember those! I was addicted. It’s something to be honest, I wish I had of kept up with, but I think after a couple of years of doing that I just didn’t bother doing them anymore. I did however create a couple of blogs a few years later, but it wasn’t until I created Clemloves, that my love for having my own place to write, grew. I have since tried to find my old websites, I remember the first one I ever made was called ‘Cool Girls Today!’ I also made another one called Chocolate Hamster! But i’ve been unsuccessful in finding them, I guess as it was quite a lot of years a go they got deleted.
This week so far –
Well apart from getting a new blog design, this week has definitely been a busy one. It’s the last few weeks where all of my University assignments have got to be in! Mostly essays. I can’t believe I’m almost at the end of my second year of Audio Production. It doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago, since I was visiting on an open day and getting really excited to start my first day of Uni!
This week, well actually the last few weeks, my morning anxiety has been getting quite bad. All day yesterday, I just felt so anxious and the feeling wouldn’t go away. If you have any tips and advice, please send them this way. I also haven’t really had a decent nights sleep in a long while. Having POTS Syndrome and Interstitial Cystitis, I know this can make me feel really tired and not get a very good night’s sleep.
But one thing this week that I didn’t expect, was a tweet and video sent to me on Twitter from Edith Bowman! This really cheered me up. You can view the tweet here. Edith was doing a name scrabble game on Virgin Radio, I tweeted in what my name is and I won. My name equalled the most points! I love my name. I remember when I was little I always complained that my name was too long and that I couldn’t find anything in shops with my name on. I still can’t. But now I love my name. I think as I’ve grown older, I appreciate it a lot more, also I don’t really know anyone else who has the same name as me. At University, there is actually a lecturer with the same name as me, but I think I’m the only student with the name Clementine. I like having an unusual name.
What have you been up to this week?
