Clem Loves is a self-help, wellness and lifestyle blog for chronic illness sufferers. You will find posts on this blog on a range of topics such as 5 Tips To Make Self-Care Happen This New Year, Why Reading Is A Perfect Self-Care Activity and My Crohn’s Disease Journey, as well as tasty recipes and what books I’m currently cosying up to.
If you are wanting to add a little self-care to your day, then this is the blog for you. Self-care has become an important part of my daily routine as an adult who’s nearly 30 and living with a chronic illness! I’m on a journey to successfully figure out how to look after myself, but in a way where I can use self-care to enjoy the things I love in a positive and productive way, and to share my tips with you along the way.

At the age of 8 after having trouble with my breathing, I was diagnosed with Asthma. When I was 19 I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (more commonly known as Painful bladder syndrome). Whilst under anesthetic, it was found that something wasn’t quite right with my heart, which led to a diagnosis of Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. After two operations on my heart, the Wolff Parkinson White syndrome was gone. Shortly after I was diagnosed with POTS Syndrome and Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia. And in 2017, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease.
You will find me sat at home in a small town in Lincolnshire, dreaming about my next big bookish adventure, binge-watching the latest Netflix Original series and having a relaxing self-care pamper evening!
