Hey there! It’s time for my ‘What’s In My October Secret Scent Box’ post. You can find out what I got in my September box here. I was very kindly sent the October box and I must say I love the Secret Scent Box so much! And I’m not just saying that. I really do. I think it’s a brilliant idea if like me you love to try out different scents. It’s also the perfect gift if you are wondering what to get someone.
I’m very excited to share with you my October Secret Scent Box! I was so happy when this little box of gorgeousness arrived in the post. I couldn’t wait to see what three scents I had this month. And I’m happy to say that I absolutely love each one of the three scents I got! I’m going to go into a little bit more detail about them below, but it’s definitely so hard to pick a favourite this month because each one of them smells so gorgeous. Again they are three brands that I haven’t tried perfume from before, but all very well known brands. I’ve smelled other scents by them in shops, but I’ve never actually owned any.
If you are wondering what the Secret Scent box is, it’s a cute little box that fits perfectly through your letterbox, so you don’t have to worry about waiting in at home for the delivery. Inside your box, you get three sample sizes of three different scents. But don’t let the size fool you, you get plenty of scent in each one. On the Secret Scent website, it says that there is enough fragrance to last 30 days and ideal for approximately 4 sprays a day and each fragrance is 100% authentic. It’s also free delivery to anywhere in the UK and Europe. Inside your box, you also get three cards that explain a little bit more in detail what each scent is and it’s ingredients. Not forgetting that they are the perfect size to pop into your bag!
Fever by Jimmy Choo.
“Launched 2018, this scent celebrates a new facet of the Jimmy Choo woman, an intimate extrovert with a playful energy and sense of fun.”
This scent includes top notes of black plum nectar, lychee and grapefruit. It also includes heliotrope, vanilla orchid, jasmine, tonka bean, benzoin and sandalwood.
This scent by Jimmy Choo is so gorgeous. It’s quite a strong scent that lasts throughout the day. The notes listed above, mix so well together to create a stunning scent. I’ve really been loving wearing this. Have you tried any scents by Jimmy Choo. I remember some time ago I smelt one or two of theirs in a shop and I just remember thinking how lovely they smell.
London by Burberry.
“This fragrance is indispensable while visiting the city of London if one wants to feel the pulse of this old and contemporary city.”
This scent includes top notes of rose, honeysuckle and tangerine. It also includes tiare flower, jasmine, soft peony, wood and musk.
This scent is definitely one I would wear when visiting London, and everywhere else too. It’s lovely and delicate and provides a gorgeous smell that lasts a long time.
Connect Her by FCUK.
“A great, on-trend fragrance for young woman, FCUK Connect Her Eau de Toilette is a floral perfume which is perfect for everyday wear.”
This scent includes top notes of lotus, bergamot and lily-of-the-valley. It also includes jasmine, violet, peony, musk, sandalwood, Virginia cedar and amber.
Having never tried a scent by FCUK, after smelling and using this one, I definitely want to try more by them. This scent is just simply amazing, I just don’t know how else to describe it! As soon as I smelt this one, I just couldn’t wait to apply some to my skin. The scent lasts all day and I just can’t stop smelling my arm once I have applied some!
I just can’t choose a favourite, they are all so different but they all smell so good. Each of these scents is definitely some of the loveliest ones I’ve ever smelt and used. I would love to know if you have tried any of these before, if so which one do you love the most? Please let me know in the comments. I would also love to know which scents are your favourite in general? As I mentioned above and also in my last post, you get a really generous amount of each scent in the bottles. They last a long time and it’s a great way to discover new scents that you may have not tried before.
