I’m so excited to be taking part in the ‘Tis The Season To Be Single’ blog tour. This amazing and festive book is by Laura Ziepe. These Christmas themed books are definitely getting me in the mood for Christmas Already. Check out my review for Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge. I just love a good Christmas Novel. Please let me know in the comments what your favourite Christmas themed books are?
I was very kindly sent an ebook copy of this book to read read and review on Clem Loves. I absolutely love taking part in blog tours for books and reading other blogs by blogger who are also taking part. (I’ve attached the banner below, so be sure to check out all of the other bloggers who are taking part.) I think what first grabbed my attention to this book is the title, as I’ve been single for about just over two months now I think it is, and it’s it’s almost Christmas! I’ve also read some really great reviews for this book too.
“All they want for Christmas…
Rachel is in shock. She was sure that her boyfriend was about to propose not break up with her! Even worse, it turns out he’s been cheating on her
Grace can’t bear the thought of spending another Christmas with her lazy, unappreciative husband. Surely it’s time to shake things up a bit?
Amber knows she should be happy that her best friend Jack is getting married, but there’s a little part of her that can’t help think it was always meant to be me’!
With Christmas fast approaching, surely there’s no better time to be single yet will the three friends manage to keep their promise and ban all men until the New Year?”
This is such a fun and light-hearted book with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. This is an amazing debut novel by Laura Ziepe. I could relate to the characters in this book so much. And having been through similar experiences as they have, I felt that the conversations they were having, especially Rachel and Grace, it was helping me with my recent break-up, and just before Christmas too. I would love to have these girls as my friends. I absolutely love the advice Grace gave Rachel. Rather than just reading about what two characters were saying to each other, I actually felt that it was meant for me too. It really helped me. I think we’ve all been through similar experiences to the main characters, Rachel, Grace and Amber. I love their friendship and how they are helping each other. I think out of each of the girls, I really related to Rachel the most, maybe because I’m about the same age as her too.
As the story starts, we get to meet the three main characters, who each have their own story and who are good friends with one another and work together. The three friends, who are now all single, come together and we get to follow each of their stories with what happens next in their lives.
This is a great, easy-read book that I really didn’t want to put down. Although this book does start off with heartbreak, it becomes a fun, uplifting addictive read. I can’t wait to read more from Laura. This is definitely a story that will stay with me.
This book is available now on Amazon for just 99p for the eBook, or you can buy this book from the 29th November on paperback.
