It’s that time of the month again! It’s time for my ‘What’s In My October Birchbox’ post. And what another beauty this months box is. I always pop on over to Birchbox on Twitter to have a peak at what next month’s box looks like! I was especially excited for this months, as it’s now Autumn. I was also very excited for Octobers box design, because as soon as I saw it, I did a little dance, because it goes so well with my blog props I use. This month’s design is a gorgeous floral design, with beautiful bright autumn inspired colours. If only my Halloween/Autumn photo props were here already! I would love to know what you got in your October Birchbox and which items are your favourites? Please let me know in the comments.

Want to know what I got in my box other months, here’s what I got in my April, May, June, July, August and September boxes. With Birchbox, if you want to just have one box that’s fine, because you can cancel anytime. But I absolutely love receiving my Birchbox each month, and have loved every single product that I have received so far. Also, just a little disclaimer, this post is in no way sponsored by Birchbox. I write these posts because I absolutely love writing them and I just love and adore Birchbox so much.
As with all of my Birchbox posts, they are my first impressions of the products, I haven’t yet tried them, but I will be doing some reviews very soon on some of the products. You may also be wondering how long each of the products last, as you do get sample sizes in your box along with the occasional one or two full size products. I personally find that you get a generous amount of product in the sample size ones. A little definitely goes a long way and you definitely get your money’s worth each month. I love being able to try out new products and products by brands that I haven’t tried before. In this months box, I got three full size products, which I am very happy about. They also included a little extra product in everyones box this month. I got a little tester of the Lumene Hydration Recharge Overnight Cream, which I have included in one of the photos below. I have also seen that some people got a sample of different perfumes in their boxes too, as their extra item.
So in my October Birchbox, one of the items in which everyone got, but you can choose out of two different face masks which one you would like to recieve, I decided to go for the BeautyPro THERMOTHEROPY Warming Gold Foil Mask. This mask is a full size product. I decided to go for this one because it is infused with hyaluronic acid, which is hydrating for the sin and also contains regenerating Q10. As my skin can be very sensitive and gets dry, I like to go for products that will help to hydrate my skin. The description for this mask, says that it is self-warming and the foil helps ingredients to deeply penetrate the skin to reduce fine lines, improve elasticity and helps to boost glow. It says to apply to clean skin and leave for 15-20 minutes. You just then remove the mask and massage in the excess serum. I can’t wait to use this mask. I will definitely be using this on my next pamper night!
The next item I got in my October Birchbox is the Winky Lux Strobing Balm in Radiant Pink. (I do love that brand name!) This highlighter is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to use it. It is creulty-free and the description of this product says that it glides onto skin with ease, with its creamy texture. The description also says that it creates a beautiful glow and reflective sheen. It says to try using it on your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and on your cupids bow. I’m so happy that I got this product in my box.
The third product I got in October Birchbox is the Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask. (Just look at how pretty the packaging is!) This mask is for the hair and the description says that it helps split ends, dryness and improves overall hair. I personally love it when I get hair care products because as I’ve got fine hair it does tend to break at the ends and can get quite dry, I love having new products to try for my hair, especially ones that help with dryness. I’m really looking forward to using this when I’m next in the shower. It contains omega-rich sea buckthorn berry which helps to hydrate and repair damage and seal frayed ends. It says that after shampooing, apply generously onto your hair leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse. This mask is also all natural. I’m very excited about this one.
The fourth product that I got in my October Birchbox, which full-size size product, is the Daily Concepts Multi-Functional Charcoal Soap Sponge. I was actually hoping I would get this item in my box after seeing someone else get it in theirs! So I was very happy when I saw this in my box. I’ve had something very similar to this before and loved it. The description of this product says that it is a 2-in-1 soap sponge, that contains a detoxifying charcoal cleanser with a gentle, exfoliating sponge. You wet the sponge, squeeze it which creates a foam, and then use it on your skin and then rinse. I can’t wait to use this!
The fifth product that I got in my October Birchbox, which is also one of my full-size products, is the Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant Bergamot + Lime. This deodorant is made from 100% all-natural ingredients and also contains essential oils. The description says that it smells incredible, and it really does! The smell actually reminds me of those lemon and lime flavoured little ice ball things that you could get from the ice cream van or in shops! Remember those?! I can’t remember what brand made them now, I’ve seen some photos of ones called Calippo Shots! So maybe it was them. All I know is that I absolutely loved them! But anyway, this deodorant really does smell so good. It has plant-based powders, instead of aluminium, which helps to neutralise scent and absorb dampness.
Lastly, the extra item I got in my October Birchbox, which I mentioned above, is a little sample size packet of the Lumene Hydration Recharge Overnight Cream. This description for this cream, says that it locks in moisture from dusk till dawn with its rich moisturiser. It helps to nourish tired skin and restored radiance whilst you sleep. It contains shea butter and birch sap which help to hydrate. It says to apply to the face and neck in the evening after cleansing. Have you tried this moisturiser before?
I am so happy with all of the products I have received in this months box. I’m very excited that I got three full size products in my box. I think out of all of the products I am most excited to try the hair mask and the deoderant. But I’m still very excited to try all of them. I don’t think I’ve tried any products from any of these brands before. I would love to know if you have? Please let me know in the comments. Which products do you like the sound of the most?
